Hope you all like the quality of the new ones I will be putting up from now on. The earlier posts were a learning phase for me so I made a lot of mistakes. I'm learning as I go with it. I used to draw them on paper, scan them, then take them Illustrator, then Photoshop, then InDesign.... let's just say this new method is a lot less time consuming. This is the first in the new look series with Lubda updated so he and Yodel don't look too similar. Please leave comments and thoughts please. Thanks M

This is a sketch I made poking fun at the idea of having a creative way of presenting my portfolio during a review session for upcoming artists. At a review, besides your work being good the presentation could set you apart so how can you present your work in a memorable way? That's this gag. Hope you like it. The strips I have been posting are not of the best quality I know but I am really just trying to get the hang of creating comicbooks. This series was created primarily in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and a bit of InDesign as well. I worked off pencil versions I did a couple of months back. Please don't be discouraged, I get better with each page I draw so hopefully I can reach a satisfactory level in a couple of weeks. Leave comments and opinions please. M

The 3 page story I posted below is my 1st attempt at creating a comic strip based on the characters I created called Yodele and Luba. Yodele is the shorter and main character while Lubda is his friend. In the later strips I post there will be drastic changes to the character Lubda based on advise from my friend saying they looked a little too similar. Hope I can keep all the characters unique and I hope you enjoy the stories I have to tell. Thank you Peace M
